Where your project sits
Most engagements read left to right — clarify, build, extend, sustain. You can join the line at any point.
Discovery
A short paid engagement that turns a problem into a specification and a number, before anyone commits to building it.
Best forYou know something is wrong, or something is needed, but you cannot yet write down what to build — and you do not want the scope to be a guess that becomes your risk.
Project delivery
A defined scope with a price and a date. Design, build, test, release.
Best forYou know what needs to exist — a website, an online store, a mobile app, a redesign — and you want it delivered against an agreed scope rather than billed by the hour.
Dedicated team
Named engineers working as an extension of your team, month by month.
Best forYou have your own roadmap and your own product decisions, and what you are short of is engineering capacity that stays with the codebase long enough to know it.
Hosting & maintenance
Ongoing technical care for something that is already live.
Best forSomething exists and has to keep working — whether or not we built it. We will tell you honestly if a codebase is one we can responsibly take on.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions →What services does GStar Technologies offer?#
GStar Technologies offers five services: web and UI/UX design, website development, e-commerce, mobile app development, and hosting and maintenance. Each is sold as a defined scope with named deliverables rather than as a list of technologies.
What engagement models does GStar Technologies offer?#
Four arrangements: Discovery, Project delivery, Dedicated team, and Hosting and maintenance. Which one fits depends on how well defined the work is and whether it ends. Scope, responsibilities and handover are agreed in writing before any work starts.
What is a Discovery engagement?#
Discovery is a short paid engagement that turns a problem into a specification and a number before anyone commits to building it. It delivers agreed requirements, an architecture and integration plan, prototype screens where useful, and a scoped estimate — yours to keep, whoever builds it.
Can GStar Technologies maintain a system it did not build?#
Yes. Hosting and maintenance covers systems already live, whether or not GStar Technologies built them, and includes monitored hosting, security patching, backups with a documented restore procedure, and a named contact. A codebase that cannot responsibly be taken on is declined rather than accepted quietly.
